Dudson’s latest ranges and reasons to trust the brand
Dudson is a heritage brand dating back to 1800, and to this day is still made by renowned potters in Stoke on Trent, the world capital of ceramics. Every step in the process is practised and refined. From the sourcing of raw materials and unique formulation of the clay body, to shape engineering and numerous quality checks ensuring that Dudson products work as hard as you do.
The Dudson ceramic body is industrially tough, we blend centuries of experience with cutting edge technology and design innovation to produce one of the strongest ceramic bodies in
the world.
What makes the Dudson ceramic body one of the strongest tableware bodies in the world?
1: Performance Materials
Our unique clay recipe is essential in creating a strong and durable product for the hospitality industry. Our raw materials are selected to deliver the optimum balance of
strength and whiteness.
Our clay comes from Devon and Cornwall in the UK and we work closely with our suppliers to ensure continuity of supply. Geologically there is over 100 years worth of supply at our clay source.
2: Engineered Shape & Form
Every piece of Dudson’s ceramic is designed with performance in mind. Through expert shape engineering, we reinforce strength and durability while continual investment in technology guarantees functionality and consistent quality.
3: Vitrification & Firing
100% of Dudson’s ceramics are vitrified which is essential to the hospitality industry. Vitrification is a process where we physically change the clay, melting it to make our ceramics impervious to water, which also means that bacteria has less opportunity to penetrate into the ceramics and grow.
4: Glazing
Our glaze is hard wearing and designed specifically for the hospitality environment. The durability is a combination of the glaze recipe, the firing temperature and substrate.
5: Quality & Performance
Dudson ceramics are continuously tested and quality checked, from the stage of raw materials, throughout the manufacturing process to the final fired piece.
6: Design Innovation
Dudson are experts in ceramic design and at the forefront of innovation. Our entire product portfolio is designed in the UK by our experienced and talented design team. We work with chefs from around the world ensuring we understand the needs of our customers.
Latest Range from Dudson
Maker’s Collection Finca
At Alliance Online we are excited to offer and promote some of the latest ranges from Dudson with the first being their Maker’s Collection Fincs range featuring two different colours; Limestone and Sandstone. The Maker’s Collection Finca range from Dudson epitomises rustic decor and creative ceramic crafts drawing inspiration from the heritage of the Dudson brand itself. Both colourways are finished in a semi-matte, dipped glaze to enhance the character of the collection whilst also boasting a multi-tonal print which has a worn pastoral visual. The range is perfect for country cafes and restaurants and their quality ensures they can comfortably meet the needs of any hospitality or food serving business.
Harvest Mediterranean
The second of Dudson’s newest ranges is the Harvest Mediterranean which evokes feelings of warmth thanks to its patterns and white / blue colour palette. Utilising a hand-finished sponged rim that naturally drips creating a unique piece every time. Possessing the suitable qualities for any commercial restaurant or bar, the Harvest range by Dudson is timeless and should be considered greatly for a wide range of commercial establishments. The industrial toughness of each piece also makes the range perfect for arduous bars or restaurants.
Harvest Plum and Turquoise
Additionally, Dudson have also created two new colour options for their already popular Dudson Harvest range, plum and turquoise. Like the Mediterranean variation, both plum and turquoise have a hand-finished sponged rim ensuring each piece has a unique design and style. The depth of the plum colour works perfectly in rustic themes along and offers chefs a striking canvas to present their culinary creations. The turquoise is a more subtle shade which lends itself well to seafood offerings along with food with vibrant tones. The range has an industrial toughness which makes it brilliant for commercial restaurants and bars.
