This means that any product which has chipped during normal food service (refrigeration, serving, washing & storage) within that time can be applied for replacement.

One of our newest suppliers, who pride themselves on using the highest quality raw materials, Villeroy & Boch also provide a 5-year edge chipping warranty. Covering the dishes, saucers & plates of it’s Hotel & Restaurant Fine China products, Villeroy & Boch will exchange your chipped products for either a replacement or a credit note of equivalent value.
As long as the chip isn’t due to inappropriate or excessive use, the 5 year guarantee can take effect as long as you present the original invoice. Full details of the guarantee can be found here.
3. Dudson
Describing the warranty as a “Guarantee of a Lifetime”, Dudson expresses a passion for earning customer confidence when it comes to how well their products perform. Covering their plates; saucers, bowls & oval dishes among their Fine China & Finest Vitrified collections, Dudson offers a worldwide, Lifetime Warranty against edge chipping.
The products must be directly registered with Dudson within 60 days of purchase but any products chipped whilst being used during normal food service application will be covered for a full replacement. As long as the claim is being made by the original customer, you can apply under the warranty any time after purchase.
