For those of you making your own, try our pancake recipe…
110g/4oz plain flour, sifted
pinch of salt
2 eggs
200ml/7fl oz milk mixed with 75ml/3fl oz water
50g/2oz butter
- Combine flour sugar, salt, eggs, milk and oil.
- Whisk continuously to smooth batter – allow to rest for 1 hour.
- Heat the pancake pan, add 1/2 tablespoon oil and reheat until very hot.
- Add batter to coat the bottom of the pan and cook until brown on both sides.
- Continue making the pancakes placing them on top of each other to prevent drying.
