A glamorous awards ceremony for star performers in the pub industry took place last night at the Grosvenor House in London.
Hosted by Michael McIntyre, the nations top pub and bar licensees have been rewarded for their efforts over the past year at the Publican Awards.
Award categories include; Customer Service Pub of the Year, Pub Design of the Year and Bar Person of the Year.
Publican editor Caroline Nodder described pubs as being “unique in the place they hold within their communities”. She went on to commend the 1,500 guests by adding “I take my hat off to all of you out there who are continuing not only to steer your businesses through a recession but help your customers through the hard times as well.”
